Story

The Original Juice Co. was created in Melbourne, Victoria in 1988 by experienced juice maker, Nick Thyssen.

His aim: to deliver delicious orange juice direct to store.

As chilled juice became more popular, Nick realised there was a lot of sub-standard juice being produced and so, decided to create a premium quality product for his customers to enjoy.

In 1997, inspired by his love of the finest quality scotch whiskey, Nick launched The Original Juice Co. Black Label juice. Unlike other juices available, The Original Juice Co. Black Label orange juice is not made from concentrate and has no added sugar or preservatives.

In order to distinguish his product from the rest, Nick also packaged The Original Juice Co. Black Label juice in a clear environmentally friendly plastic bottle so customers could easily see the colour and clarity of the juice they were buying.

For over 10 years, we have continued to extend our range of great tasting flavours and unique fruit blends. What’s more, because our The Original Juice Co. Black Label orange juice is still made without the addition of concentrate or sugar, you can rest assured that you are drinking a quality juice that Nick would be proud of.
